　　Since its establishment, AOBO( “the Company”) has been devoted to the research & development of medicines and health products. In recent years, based on its R&D of plant-based pharmaceuticals (traditional Chinese medicine) and nutraceuticals, AOBO has also comprehensively developed the research & development of chemical and biological medicines. In 2008 the Company has established the AOBO Research Institute in Beijing and has also set up research institutes (centers) in our proprietary companies throughout China including: the Harbin Drug Research Institute, the Harbin Three Happiness Food Research Institute, the Hebei Aoxing Narcotics (pain-killer) Development Center, the Guangxi Nanning Research Institute and the Guangxi Hezhou Lingfeng Pharmaceuticals Development Center. At the same time, the Company has built extensive and in-depth collaborative relationships with domestic renowned drug Research & Development Organizations, such as the Institute of Materia Medica at the ChineseAcademy of Medical Sciences (including the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development (IMPLAD), affiliated with the ChineseAcademy of Medical Sciences).

　　The Research & Development team has cooperated with many famous overseas or domestic academics and experts on new drug development to form close collaborative relationships with them. The AOBO Research Institute has set up the Science and Technology Committee, the Technology Committee, the Market Committee, with responsibility for establishing scientific management processes in terms of initiating a project, project management, risk control and intellectual property protection for new products.
